Renders math without a LaTeX install

Problem solved

Ask an AI agent for a 3Blue1Brown-style math animation and it writes a scene that fails to render. A full TeX distribution is several gigabytes and a frequent source of "latex not found" errors, and the renderer reaches for LaTeX in places you would not expect.

What I built

An agent Skill that turns "make me a video explaining why the derivative of x² is 2x" into a rendered animated explainer. SKILL.md plus scripts and reference notes teach Claude Code, or any agent that reads the SKILL.md format, to run the whole job: bootstrap a Python virtualenv with the animation engine and the system libraries it needs (cairo, pango, ffmpeg) on macOS and Linux, write the scene from the closest recipe, draft render, extract frames so the agent looks at the layout and catches off-screen or overlapping elements, then render the final mp4. Math is drawn with Pango text and Unicode instead of LaTeX, and the references document every spot where the renderer secretly calls LaTeX. Bundled recipes cover derivatives, Riemann sums and integrals, the Fundamental Theorem, limits and epsilon-delta, the chain rule, Taylor series and vectors.
