What I take on
Payments, Payouts & KYC.
Built by me, start to deploy
Checkout on the processor you already use, money back out through a payout queue, and identity in between.
Why this gets built
These are usually three vendors that never talk to each other. The result is a payout approved for an account that never passed identity, or a charge that succeeded at the processor and never landed on the order. Nobody notices until a customer emails, and by then the webhook that failed is outside its retry window.
What I build
- Checkout on your own pages, using the processor's own elements rather than a hosted page that drops your brand. Stripe, PayPal, crypto, or whichever one you already run. The order and the account are created in one transaction rather than two hopeful ones.
- Webhooks handled once. The same event arriving twice must not create two orders or two funded accounts.
- Refunds staff can run themselves, with the reason recorded beside the order, and a second processor behind the first so one outage is not a closed shop.
- Small-order economics checked before launch, because fixed-rate crypto invoices and percentage fees behave very differently under $20.
- Identity at signup or before a funded account, through a vendor or brought in-house once the volume justifies it.
- A payout queue that reads live equity at the moment of the request, with staff approval before money leaves.
- Reconciliation between processor files and your own book, and the failures put on a screen. Declines, 3DS drop-offs and resubmitted documents belong in front of staff, not in a log.
How long it takes
About four weeks for checkout and payouts reading live equity. Each processor after the first is two to three weeks, including its webhooks, refunds and reconciliation file.
Most of that time is the failure paths. The successful charge is usually the first afternoon. In-house identity verification is a different size of job, quoted on its own: the vision models for OCR, liveness and face match only pay for themselves at volume, and under a few thousand checks a month I will tell you to stay on a vendor.
What ships
- Checkout wired per processor
- Idempotent webhook handling
- Staff refund and retry tools
- API key rotation and test-mode setup
- Identity verification, vendor or in-house
- Payout queue with staff approval
- Daily reconciliation against your own orders
- A failure desk for everything that did not go through
